Lemon Tree Update – Another Bright Light in the Winter

blossom

In case you were wondering about my Meyer Lemon tree, its thriving. The blossoms really do smell sweet. Really sweet. Almost like a lemony honeysuckle. Yesterday, the temperature in my car read -10 degrees in the morning. By the time I came home it was 28, so that’s an improvement. I checked on my lemon tree and here is what I found.

Baby lemons!!

I’ve lost a few leaves, but the jury is still out on whether that’s a winter thing, or a problem, so I hope that it will continue to thrive. I’ll keep you posted.
