Fig, Olive, Gorgonzola & Pear Crostini
Fig and olive relish combined with fresh pears create a delicious crostini appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 French baguette
- 1/2 cup Fig & Olive Relish
- 1/3 cup Gorgonzola cheese crumbles
- 2 Fresh Pears sliced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions
- Slice the baguette into 1/4 inch rounds
- Brush both side with olive oil
- Toast under the broiler until golden on both sides
- Top with relish, followed by Gorgonzola
- Place under broiler again until cheese in bubbling
- Top with a thin slice of pear
Notes
You can substitute fig jam, or fresh fig slices. Other blue cheese work well too.
